We had this post set up for later in the month, but because I saw that one of the authors that make up 'Sarah O'Rourke' has had her hubby come back to the states from being overseas with the military that this would be the most perfect day to post it!

Cain’s Salvation by Sarah O’Rourke is a romantic erotica novel and is the first in a series that will each follow one of the McKinnon sisters; Patience, Harmony, Honor and Faith. These sisters are there for each other through thick and thin. They are fiercely loyal and even more protective. Every trial and tribulation their family has gone through has just brought them closer together. One thing I love about these ladies is that they aren’t afraid to tell each other how it is. Definitely provides for some entertaining dialogue between them.

Faith has always loved Cain. It started with a girls crush and over the years it grew into the truest of loves. Cain spent a good part of his young adult life waiting for his soul-mate, Faith, to grow up and experience life. When Faith comes home from college she is no longer off limits and he lets her know it’s time for them to be together. They have so much fire and passion that you may spontaneously combust while reading. Sarah O’Rourke is like some evil genius that mixes up all the right formulas to give her characters explosive chemistry.

Cain is in the Reserves, he is called to active duty and is deployed to Afghanistan because he is a doctor he is sent to a Military Hospital. The work there is hard and it affects him in ways he never could have imagined. In his mind he had done things that made him unworthy of his precious Faith. He writes her a letter while deployed freeing her of him. Faith is devastated by losing her love. She locks up her heart and moves on with life. Back from war Cain comes home, but isolates himself from everyone especially, Faith.

Cain’s Salvation is a beautifully written romance about everlasting love, second chances, and surviving.  I laughed. I cried. I wanted to throw my eReader. Every moment of this story was perfectly executed. I fell in love with the McKinnon sisters and the town they live in. I can’t wait to read more in this series. Five Stars.
